Lance Atom Stuart, 31, of Houston, TX, died suddenly at home with close friends Dave and Lora Kelly on Saturday, September 7, 2019.
Lance was born on December 21, 1987. He attended Fulton, IL, schools and graduated from Morrison High School in 2006. He grew up farming and liked computer gaming in his spare time. Lance drove semi truck over the road and was currently trucking locally, hauling golf carts in the Houston area and cross country.
Survivors include father, Darwin (Carolyn) Stuart of Morrison, IL; mother, Christine (Robert) Whitten of Fulton; sister Brooke Stuart of Morrison; half-brother, Jesse Whitten of Fulton; step-brother, Ben Whitten of Fulton; step-sister, Elizabeth Douglass of Clinton, IA; grandmother, Delores Stuart of Morrison; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ervin Stuart.
A Celebration of Life will be held from noon until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2019, at Triple Play Bowling and Banquet, 1601 9th Avenue in Fulton, IL.
There will be a private family graveside service at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison, IL, at a later date.
A memorial has been established to Clinton Humane Society.
