Morrison Chief of Police Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, August 23, 2019.
Arrests: On Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at approximately 4:22 p.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Demarcus L. Edwards, age 28 of Davenport, IA. The traffic stop was conducted on U. S. Route 30, west of Morrison, IL. As a result of the investigation during the traffic stop, Edwards was arrested and charged with Driving While License Suspended and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis (more than 500 grams but less than 2000 grams-Class 3 Felony.) Edwards was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at approximately 12:00 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Casey M. Hook, age 25 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant, issued by Ogle County charging Hook with Failure to Appear/Pay-Traffic Offense. Hook was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
