Harvey Zuidema and wife Karen invite the public to honor his 80th birthday, at an Open House reception on Sunday, September 1, 2019. His birth date is August 30, 1939.
The celebration takes place from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., at Morrison’s Heritage Museum, 202 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL. The building is accessible to all via a ramp at the back entrance.
Enjoy birthday cake, ice cream, mixed nuts, and coffee with the honoree. Zuidema requests that no gifts be brought. A card would be a cordial alternative.
Harvey Zuidema is President of Morrison Historical Society and an Alderman on the City Council. He received the first Chamber of Commerce “Citizen of the Year Award” in 2017. He is pictured above with son Dean at the event.
The Zuidemas are parents of four children and seven grandchildren:
- Carmen (Kevin) Church, Kaleb and Kassidee
- Todd (Kim Given), Colten
- Dean (Julie), Lauren, Morgan, and Kallie
- Myron (Jill), Brennah.
