What is Pickleball? See for Yourself July 30

Posted by

Pickleball is a paddle sport using a paddle and a wiffle ball, created for anyone eight to eighty+ and with all skill levels.  Rules are simple, and the game is easy for beginners to learn.

Pickleball gives you a good workout without as much stress and strain on joints and muscles.  This sport combines elements of badminton, ping-pong, and tennis.  It is played by many Seniors in retirement communities.

Come learn Morrison’s newest sport at the Kelly Park former tennis courts.  New equipment arrived has arrived; signage is on order.  A bench has been freshened, but spectators will want to bring a chair.  Watching others play is almost as much fun as playing.

Attend the free Pickleball Clinic on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.  Professional player Mike Shears will instruct.  There are two sessions:  9:00 to 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
