Kaywyn Beswick noted, “The American Red Cross is in urgent need of double red cell donations! If you are able to contribute this life saving blood, please donate tomorrow. Almost all whole blood appointment slots are filled up, but eight red/power cell donor times are open.”
As an incentive, there will be a raffle for a DQ Grill & Chill Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Cake. Also, everyone who comes to donate will receive a free Dilly Bar, in honor of National Dairy Month. Covering flavors are chocolate, cherry, and butterscotch; there is a sugar-free option.
The local drive is Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Morrison United Methodist Church, 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL. New and repeating donors are welcome to the Blood Drive. The event is from noon to 6:00 p.m.
