The City of Morrison has started planning for the 4th Annual Summer Extravaganza. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, July 27, 2019, at the Morrison Sports Complex, 15201 Bishop Road, on the east edge of Morrison, IL.
“This event has grown due to partnerships with local businesses and organizations, making activities such as the Wiffle Ball Tournament a reality. Summer Extravaganza continues to be a popular summer attraction for local families,” said Morrison Mayor Everett Pannier.
Register by Wednesday, July 24, at Hero’s Bar & Grill, 208 E. Main Street, Morrison, to enter the Braggin’ Rights Wiffle Ball Tournament. Concessions, a beverage garden, kids’ obstacle course, and bounce houses will be a part of the activities available throughout the day.
The event concludes with the popular fireworks display.
Sponsorships are now available to help with the cost of the event including the fireworks, which have become a popular draw. Sponsorships start at $100.
Necessary to make this event a success are volunteers.
