Morrison Police Report from May 16

Morrison Chief of Police Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Thursday, May 16, 2019.

Arrests: On Friday, May 17, 2019, at approximately 11:55 p.m., Morrison Police responded to a fight in the 100 block of E. Market Street.  During the investigation, Morrison Police arrested Jarrett F. Wiebenga, age 18 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Wiebenga with Forgery (Class 3 Felony.) Wiebenga was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.  The fight remains under investigation by Morrison Police.

On Monday, May 20, 2019, at approximately 11:17 a.m., Morrison Police responded to Parkview Motel, 630 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, regarding an unwanted person on the premises.  As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested Sarah K. Snyder, age 44 of Rock Falls, IL, charging Snyder with Criminal Trespass to Property.  The Morrison Police were assisted by the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office and the Morrison Community Hospital Emergency Medical Services.
