Morrison Music Theatre Association (MMTA) welcomes anyone desiring an evening of music and reminiscing of the last 100 years of Broadway music. The history of Broadway will be explored through scores, featuring Tin Pan Alley to State-of-the-Art Contemporary Broadway. You’ll treasure the magic of an entire century of drama, laughter, and beautiful music, performed by local talent at Morrison United Methodist Church, 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, on Friday, April 12, 2019, at 7:00 p.m.
A few of the selections include Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Oh What A Beautiful Morning,” “Once in Love with Amy,” “Anything You Can Do.” and “How are Things in Glocca Mora?,” just to name a few.
These favorites will be combined with such familiar songs as “Everything’s Coming Up Roses,” “Mame,” “Hello, Young Lovers,” “The Impossible Dream.” and “Seventy Six Trombones.”
