The Morrison Garden Club will sponsor an Easter Coloring Contest with the help of Odell Public Library, beginning Monday, April 1, through Monday, April 15, 2019. There will be three categories: ages 3-5, 6-8, and 9-10 year olds. An age-appropriate, garden related prize will be given to the winner of each category.
Prizes being given will be on display at the library. Odell Public Library is located at 307 S. Madison Street, in Morrison, IL.
Rules of the contest follow.
- Contest is open to all children between the ages of three and ten years old.
- Entry must be child’s own work and on the official coloring page for the specific age group entering. Pages will be available at the library beginning Monday, April 1.
- Only one entry per child.
- Any medium can be used: crayons, markers, colored pencils, etc.
- To be eligible for a prize, on back of coloring page the child’s name, age, and a contact name and phone number must be entered. (First name may also go on the front of the picture.)
- Entries must be dropped off by Monday, April 15, to the library to be eligible for the contest judging.
- The first 13 entries returned will receive a coupon for a free treat from DQ Grill & Chill, compliments of owners Ellen and Bart Smith.
