Sheri Gale Radenslaben, 72, of Morrison, IL, died Friday, March 15, 2019, at Morrison Community Hospital in Morrison.
Sheri was born December 8, 1946, in Morrison, to John J. and Esta I. (Renkes) Gentz. She was educated in the rural Whiteside County Grade Schools and Prophetstown Grade School and was a graduate of Galesburg High School in Galesburg, IL. She also attended McConnell Airline Technical School in Minneapolis, MN. She was first employed by the former Ice Box Restaurant and also Climco Coils, both in Morrison. Sheri was a member of Morrison United Methodist Church and a member of the former Phoenix Support Group in Sterling, IL. She enjoyed reading, cross-stitching, her pets, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Pothof of Fall River, MA, and Tina Stratton of Port Orchard, WA; five grandchildren, Dylan, Sabrina, and Ethan Pothof , Bobby John and Auston Stratton; one sister, Candy (Rick) Alford of Brimfield, IL; one brother, Jon Gentz of Morrison, and a special friend, Penny Richmond of Fulton, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Derek Radenslaben; one son-in-law Robert Stratton.
Her memorial service will be held at a later date.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society has been established.
