In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, Sunday, March 17, 2019, several food and beverage choices will be offered in Morrison, IL, from east-to-west and north-to-south. Choose corned beef and cabbage meals, reuben sandwiches, desserts, and beverages with a nod to the Irish. Below are 15 options, several of which are available currently or more often than March 17. Serving time is on Friday, March 15, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the lunch special; open until 7:00 p.m. for regular menu choices.

♣The Episcopal Church of St. Anne’s will host a community St. Patrick’s Day Dinner on Saturday, March 16, at the City of Morrison Community Room in the Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street. Included are corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, roll, choice of beverage (water, coffee, or punch), and dessert. An optional Children’s Menu includes hot dog, chips, punch, and dessert. Prices are $10 for adults and $6 for children ages six-to-12. There is no charge for youngsters five and under. Serving time is 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., with take-out dinners available (call 815-718-5347.)
