On Thursday, February 28, 2019, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., The Whiteside Forum will host a book discussion on American Nations: A History of the Eleven Rival Regional Cultures of North America, by author/historian Colin Woodard. The event will be held in the Program Room of the Odell Public Library at 307 S. Madison Street, in Morrison, IL. The discussion is free and open to all.
Although reading the book might seem like a pre-requisite for attendance, the discussion will likely flow into the current state of our Union and the forces that have put us there. So, we welcome your participation and interest.
We especially invite people of diverse political opinions and those who have lived in different areas of our Country.
