Timber Lake Playhouse (TLP), the premier professional summer theatre of northwest Illinois, announces Local Auditions for the 2019 Summer Season. Auditions will be Sunday, February 3, 2019, from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m., upstairs at Henry’s Double K, in Mount Carroll, IL.
Productions include Disney’s The Little Mermaid; Noises Off; Into the Woods; Mamma Mia!; Man of La Mancha; Steel Magnolias; and Newsies.
TLP’s Artistic Director, Paul Stancato, will audition actors for positions in our Resident Company and as guest artists and ensemble. There are no youth roles being cast for the 2019 season.
To audition, email Timber Lake Playhouse at info@timberlakeplayhouse.org with “Local Auditions” in the subject line. Or call the Administrative Office for an audition appointment at 815-244-2048 on Tuesdays-through-Fridays, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Please include the full name of the person auditioning; time frame that you are available to audition on February 3; for which productions and roles you will audition. You will receive a reply with an appointment time.
Performers must prepare a song (no more than 32 bars), to sing with an accompanist. Songs from the show or in the style of the show are encouraged. Bring sheet music for the accompanist; no one will be allowed to sing without accompaniment.
