January 8 Sheriff’s Office Crash Injury Report

On 1-7-19 at 5:59 p.m., Whiteside County Deputies responded to rural Fulton, IL, on Illinois Route 84 for a single-vehicle crash versus a pedestrian.  Upon further investigation, Jeremy R. Gaul, age 26 of Clinton, IA, was determined to be in the northbound lane when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle.  Gaul was transported to Mercy Hospital in Clinton by Thomson EMS/Clinton ALS to be treated for his injuries.  Whiteside County Deputies were assisted on scene by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Thomson Police Department, Fulton Police Department, Thomson/Clinton EMS, and Midwest Towing.  The crash remains under investigation.
