Patricia Campbell, 90, of Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at her home.
Pat was born July 6, 1928, in Pittsfield, MA, to David J. and Jennie (Freehoffer) Tierney. She was a graduate from the College of Our Lady of the Elms in Chicopee, MA. On August 9, 1952, she married Ralph E. Campbell in Pittsfield. Pat was a teacher at Morrison Jr. High School from 1968 to 1991, when she retired. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Morrison. Pat was the founder and long time coach of the Morrison Seahorses Swim Team.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph; one daughter, Jodi (Kirby) Dalton of Dallas, TX; five sons, Jack (Lisa) Campbell of Stillwater, MN, Jim (Andrea) Campbell of Stanford, CA, Chris Campbell of Sunnyvale, CA, Andy (Breina) Campbell of West Dundee, IL, and Tony (Jib) Campbell of Bangkok, Thailand; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Grace Jones of Reidsville, NC, and Rosemary Brennan of Marblehead, MA; one brother, David (Mary) Tierney of Pittsfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and one brother.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 21, 2018, at St. Mary Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. Slawomir Zimodro officiating.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 20, 2018, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.
