Not only is it the height of the Christmas Season, but it is also the first anniversary of The Loft on Main opening. On the weekend of Thursday, December 13, through Saturday, December 15, 2018, the Loft will celebrate with area community members. Enjoy welcoming treats of cookies, hot cider, and coffee.
Do drop in, say “Hi,” and peruse the many pieces of art, which adorn the walls, shelves, and tables. Original works of art–from all media–will brighten the holidays as gifts that endure and delight.
One year ago, Loft 112 began with practically an empty building and eight artists. We now have 54 artists. Their art includes: oil painting, acrylics, watercolors, pen and ink drawings, mixed media pieces, wood carving/design pieces, pottery, sheet metal, jewelry, jewelry boxes, glassware, photography, cowhide purses and wallets, Christmas cards, note cards, calendars, wooden Christmas ornaments, and Christmas decorations.
A huge table in the middle of the room is loaded with stocking-stuffer gifts. There definitely is something in The Loft on Main for nearly everyone on your shopping list. A gift from the Loft promises to be creative and unique.
