Clinton Symphony Holiday Concert December 8

Posted by

swagIt’s a special time of year!  To showcase that, Clinton Symphony Orchestra’s popular “Holidays with the Symphony” concert is Saturday, December 8, 2018, at 7:30 p.m., in Vernon Cook Theater at Clinton High School, 817 8th Avenue South, Clinton, IA.  Now in its 65th year, the CSO has been a presence in the area since 1954.

On this special evening we gather many of our friends to perform for you, and we hope you will bring your family and friends to celebrate with us.  Expect selections from the great music we associate with the season, including collaborations with other arts groups.

To conclude the concert, the audience will be invited to sing along to some of the most well-known Christmas carols.  Full program notes on the music are available on the Symphony’s website at www.clintonsymphony.org.

Selections include

Canzon per Sonar Septimi Toni a 8 – Gabrielli
A Christmas Song – Mel Torme
