The need for blood is constant, and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2-to-3 seconds. Most of us will need blood in our lifetime.
Blood donations are currently being distributed faster than they are coming in, but patients and their families are still counting on us. Patients cannot afford for there to be a shortage of life sustaining blood. The American Red Cross is facing a severe blood shortage. The organization has issued an urgent call for eligible individuals of all blood types to #GiveNow and help save patient lives.
