On 11/3/18 at 6:21 p.m., Whiteside County Deputies responded to a two-car accident with injuries on Thome Road near Laurel Lane. Upon further investigation, the driver, Jay Mammosser, age 51 of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested for Improper Driving on the Shoulder and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Mammosser was transported to CGH Medical Center for treatment and was released with a Notice to Appear. Williams Towing assisted on scene.
On 11/4/18 at 9:54 p.m., Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Moline Road near Yorktown Road for improper lane usage. Upon further investigation, the driver, Lena R. Wilson, age 37 of Lyndon, IL, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession with Intent to Deliver. Wilson was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where she was held in lieu of bond. Illinois State Police and Slim-‘n-Hanks towing assisted on scene.
