I would like you to join me in supporting Sgt. Kris Schmidt for Whiteside County Sheriff on November 6! I have been privileged to have had the opportunity to work with Kris for almost 18 years. Kris has been instrumental in helping me further my Law Enforcement career. Kris has been a valued colleague and mentor, to myself and fellow Officers.
I have been lucky enough to get to know Kris’s family from very early on in my career, as our daughters competed against each other in sports, even as our children attended rival schools. Kris always made time to speak to and encourage my daughters, showing myself and others what great character Kris possesses. It is my experience that Kris shows the same character and pride in his professional life as well.
I have spoken to Kris about his plans to move the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office forward….I will be excited to watch Kris work to improve Citizen/Law Enforcement relations in Whiteside County. I am proud to call Kris Schmidt my friend.
