Announcing the Annual Book and Bake Sale at Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL, on Saturday, November 3, 2018. Shop for bargains from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The City of Morrison Community Room will be filled with books for all levels and all interests! In the lobby, tempting your senses of taste and smell, will be a wide variety of baked goods made by Morrison’s great cooks.
Put this date on the calendar for a first time visit or an annual return. Experienced shoppers bring boxes or bags to carry their purchases.
If you have never been, this is a tremendous sale for readers and eaters. Prices for books range from $1 for hardback books to $.50 for paperbacks. Children’s books are $.50 and $.25. You or your children/grandchildren could buy 40 books for $10. What a bargain!
For this event only, the Friends of Odell Public Library are selling unique and creative ornaments filled with curled strips of old books, cookbooks, and songbooks. Each of these “library” ornaments will make a great gift.
All monies benefit our community library.
