Ilinois State Police Arrest and Airplane Landing Report

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Danisha L. Parker, 44, of Flossmoor, IL, was stopped on 10/10/2018 at 1:02 p.m., on U. S. Route 30 at Interstate 39 in Lee County, after a routine registration check revealed the registered owner had a suspended Drive’s License.  Parker was charged with Driving While License Suspended and No Insurance.  Parker was released on an I-bond.

Law enforcement officials received a report on 10/11/2018 at 1:30 p.m., that an airplane landed in a cornfield in the southwest corner of Creston Road and Mulford Road, near Rochelle, IL.  The airplane was a 1950 North American T-28A.  The pilot and passenger took off from Tulsa, OK, and were en route to Wonder Lake, IL.  They reportedly lost power and made an emergency landing in the cornfield.  There were no injuries and no damage to the plane.
