The Third Annual End Polio Now Walk will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Centennial Park in Rock Falls, IL. The public is invited to participate. Registration at the Larson Shelter is from 8:15 until 9:00 a.m. At that time a short program, about Rotary efforts to eradicate polio, will be shared before a group photo is taken of all participants. There is no registration fee, but donations are accepted.
For a $20 donation an End Polio Now t-shirt will be given, as long as supply lasts.
The End Polio Now Walk is non-competitive. It winds along the Hennepin Canal, across the Rock River walkway, and returns to Centennial Park, where refreshments will be served.
An Iron Lung will be on display from 8:00 a.m. to noon at Larson Shelter.
