Whiteside County Sheriff Candidate Chief Deputy John Booker is honored to announce the endorsement from two local Unions.
The International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) Local 150 is a proud labor organization, with a long history of representing the interests of working men and women on the job, at the bargaining table, and in the halls of Government. In addition to workers’ rights, we value commitment to a strong and reliable infrastructure that supports Illinois’s economy and creates job opportunities in every industry.
United Steelworkers-Sterling local Union #63 has also announced the endorsement of John Booker for Whiteside County Sheriff.
Both these unions are counting on a determined leader to protect hardworking Illinoisan rights. Booker is a friend to the unions.
These two endorsements are added to the list of endorsements of John Booker for Sheriff. Whiteside County Republican Sheriff Kelly Wilhelmi and former Republican Sheriff Roger Schipper both have crossed party lines to endorse Booker.
