“There are now at least three credible accusations of sexual assault against Judge Kavanaugh, and these women must be taken seriously. Before getting a promotion to a lifetime appointment on the highest court in the land, Washington Republicans must allow a complete and customary FBI background investigation into these new claims. Seating a Supreme Court Justice might be the greatest responsibility of the United States Senate….Washington Republicans have an obligation to demonstrate their commitment to putting the pursuit of truth and accountability in Government ahead of a partisan sprint to the finish line.”
