Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, August 31, 2018.
Arrests: On Monday, August 27, 2018, at approximately 11:07 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Nicholas R. Lowery, age 37 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to two Arrest Warrants issued by Whiteside County, charging Lowery with Violation of Probation-Driving While License Suspended and Failure to Appear-Burglary. Lowery was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Saturday, September 1, 2018, at approximately 2:00 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Katlyn T. Garcia, age 25 of Morrison, IL, charging Garcia with Battery (Class A Misdemeanor.) The arrest is the result of an ongoing investigation of a reported “bar fight,” that occurred on August 4-5, 2018, at Hero’s Tap, 208 E. Main Street, Morrison. Garcia was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
