Booker for Sheriff announced Tuesday, September 4, 2018, that Whiteside County Sheriff candidate John Booker is honored to announce his endorsement by Teamsters Local Union #722.
Local #722 says, “John Booker is a friend of labor,” and “the Union fully supports Booker in this upcoming Sheriff’s election.”
“Booker is a 27-year Police Officer and has been a union member for many years. With his current position of Chief Deputy, he works well with the Union.”
He was endorsed by current Sheriff Kelly Wilhelmi and retired Sheriff Roger Schipper.
