The Morrison Chamber of Commerce surprised Arnie Drolema on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, with the Because Nice Matters award. He and wife Jan have owned and operated Yarbrough Appliance, 227 W. Main Street, Morrison, IL, since 1988.
The certificate stated, “In recognition of going above and beyond by continuously making efforts beyond normal circumstances. Arnie made himself available last-minute, on the weekend, to allow Windsor Manor [Assisted Living Community] to borrow a freezer at minimal cost and helped load it. Arnie is very deserving of this award, not because nice is easy, but because nice matters!”
