On Wednesday, August 29, 2018, Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois will “Unleash Strong!” All across Northern Illinois, girls and their parents will have the opportunity to learn more about Girl Scouts and join the premiere leadership organization for girls. Girls will explore hands-on STEM activities–such as making their own rocket blasters and galaxy slime–while getting a sneak peek at the science behind the fun.
All girls in Kindergarten through Grade 12 are invited to join Girl Scouts. New girls who register on August 29 will receive a free patch.
This event will take place at Morrison United Methodist Church, 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m.
