Mary Ellen Dixon, 63, of Rock Falls, IL, died on Sunday morning, August 19, 2018, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL.
She was born on April 1, 1955, in Sterling to Gordon and Maxine (Brockman) Loy. She married Robert Dixon on July 12, 1975, in Como IL.
Survivors include her husband, Robert, of Rock Falls; sisters, Sandra (James) Downey of Rock Falls, Jessie Fisher and Rosa Lee (Matt) Webb of Sterling, Sue Grebler and Tina Johnson of Springfield, IL, and Pat Bright of Morrison, IL; brother, Wayne (Cathy) Loy of Satsuma, FL; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Gordy, Richard, Donald, and Alex Loy; two sisters, Dorothy Scott and Joan Loy.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
