Ervin E. Stuart, 89, of Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Resthave Home in Morrison.
Ervin was born November 13, 1928, in Morrison, to Fred and Tina (Wiersema) Stuart. He was educated in the Humphrey Grade School of rural Whiteside County. On February 9, 1951, he married Delores Houzenga in Morrison. Ervin farmed in rural Whiteside County all his life. He was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church, enjoyed bowling, and also enjoyed traveling with Delores. Ervin enjoyed sitting on his deck, watching the traffic.
Survivors include his wife Delores; two daughters, Cheryl (Terry) Travis of Geneseo, IL, and Yvonne (Tim) Jensen of Fulton, IL; four sons, all of Morrison, Roger (Janice) Stuart, Daryl Stuart, Darwin (Carolyn) Stuart, Jerry (Lisa) Stuart; 14 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mildred “Millie” Schaver of Morrison.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Balk and Ruth Walters; five brothers, Arthur, Donald, Marion, James, and Robert Stuart.
Funeral arrangements are pending. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison, IL.
Memorials to Resthave Home and Hospice of the Rock River Valley have been established.
