Law Enforcement Viral Lip Sync Battle

Posted by

LipSyncBattleThere is a wildly popular Lip Sync Challenge being sent across Facebook.  What makes it fun is that uniformed Police Officers and Deputies are the singers, and the stage is (usually) inside their squad car.  The Law Enforcement Viral Lip Sync Challenge began with two San Antonio, TX, Airport Police Officers.  It is being adapted by Officers and shared all over the internet.

On Tuesday, July 3, 2018, Albany, IL, Police Chief Wyatt Heyvaert and his daughter, Grace, filmed a dynamic, pop music video in his squad car, singing “Shut Up and Dance” by Walk The Moon.  Chief Heyvaert posted it on Facebook and stated, “Lip Sync Challenge accepted!  Now we challenge Fulton Police Department, Morrison Police Department, Colona Police Department, Tony McCombie, and Kris Schmidt For Sheriff!”

On Tuesday, July 3, Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Kristopher Schmidt noted on his website, “Lip Sync Challenge accepted from Wyatt at Albany Police Department.  Now for Tony McCombie, Kerry Loncka, and Friends to Elect Ken Briley!”  Deputy Schmidt and his daughters recorded their lip sync rendition of “(I Got That) Boom, Boom” by Britney Spears.
