The 11th annual Whiteside County Barn Tour is Saturday, July 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, July 8, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Each day’s self-guided, driving tour begins at the Whiteside County Fairgrounds Round Barn, 201 W. Winfield Street, Morrison, IL. This is the only location to purchase an admission ticket and receive a map. The cost is $20 per vehicle.
Fill the vehicle and take a one-day road trip around Morrison. Pack a picnic or stop along the tour for a grilled lunch. Seven barns, Annan Mill, and a covered bridge are Morrison, IL, locations included in the admission:
- Round Barn
- Allen Bush house, barn, and out buildings
- Annan Mill (park in the Schuler Motors, Inc. parking lot)
- Whiteside County Covered Bridge (drive-through destination only)
- Paul and Jennifer Phelps farm (site of Cattleman’s Association lunch for purchase)
- Brian Danielson farm
- Robert White farm
- Kevin Larsen farm
- Gerald Mathew farm.
