A Citizens for Schmidt Pancake Breakfast fundraiser was held from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the City of Morrison Community Room at Odell Library, 307 S. Madison Street, in Morrison, IL. The Saturday, June 23, 2018, event offered pancakes, sausage, beverages, and conversation for a donation.
“Around 200 people attended.” reported Whiteside County Sheriff candidate Sergeant Kris Schmidt.
Jeff Deets, Morrison, won the 50/50 raffle.
An ongoing raffle of a 2018 Polaris Sportsman 450 4-Wheeler will conclude during the Whiteside County Fair, with a drawing on Saturday, August 18, at 5:00 p.m. Only 300 tickets have been printed.
