Short Term ads run two weeks; all other categories of ads run for 30 days.
Directions to become a registered user follow. Email webmaster@thecity1.com with questions or for instructions to include a paid photograph.
New users must register to write on thecity1.com Classified Ads page. In the Home Page white Login Form box, click the tiny human icon with a + sign to “Create an Account.” Fill in the User Registration form (leaving no spaces in your user name), include the zipcode to activate the Google map, and select the Spam Check math answer. You might be asked to do that twice. Click “Register.”
Open your email account to receive a message; click on the Activation Link.
Return to thecity1.com Home Page and refresh. Enter your new user name and password in the Login Form box. Go to the Classified Ads page and select “Post New Ad.” IGNORE any false warning or error messages. Write your ad immediately; there is no word limit. Two caveats: do not include any photo/graphic or links.
The first box asks for the ad “Category.” Drop down and choose one. Complete the information, and create a short title. Be sure to select “Show Map,” so a Google map will appear on your ad. Click “Save” to close.
