Morrison Chamber of Commerce Board and members hosted a noon Ribbon Cutting ceremony, on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, for BPI Companies, Inc., owned by Michael and Dawn Knott. A half-dozen businesses under the BPI corporate umbrella are based from 15273 Bishop Road, Morrison, IL. Knott purchased the assets and corporation in 2005. He bought BPI Brands in 2015.
The businesses have continued to expand the services offered. There are now “16 employees and two summer helpers,” Knott reported. BPI Pool Supply is in Fulton, IL.
- Morrison hours of operation are Monday-through-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 4:30 p.m.
- BPI Pool Supply, 1007 4th Street, Fulton, has summer hours of Monday-through-Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The office area recently underwent an attractive transformation. “We did all the work ourselves,” stated Knott, with “no contractors. The [women] in the office were always cold in the winter, so we installed heated floors.” Stacked stone is used prominently.
