Mindy L. Smith, 59, of Sterling, IL, died Saturday, April 28, 2018, at her home, surrounded by family and friends.
Mindy was born October 30, 1958, the daughter of Charles J. and Beverly (Sitter) Smith. She worked at National Hardware for 20 years. After they were bought out, she continued to work for Spectrum Brands as a Sales Coordinator.
Survivors include two daughters, Kimberlyn Smith of Sterling and Shaleigh (Drew Daniels) Smith of Dixon, IL; one brother, Ricky Smith of Dixon; one granddaughter, Kainzly Brown of Morrison, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two nieces Kerri Smith and Kimberly Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, May 3, 2018, at First Christian Church in Sterling, IL, with the Reverend Tanya Tyler, officiating.
Burial and graveside services are at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling, IL, following the funeral.
Visitation is from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30, on Thursday, May 3, 2018, prior to the funeral.
A memorial has been established.
