Karen S. Knox-Meyer (1941 – 2018)

KarenKnoxKaren S. Knox-Meyer, 76, of Cedar Park, TX, died Sunday, April 22, 2018.

Karen was born November 11, 1941, in Morrison, IL, to Keith and Helen (Irion) Knox.  She was educated in the Morrison school system and was a 1959 graduate of Morrison High School.  Karen continued her education and graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater in 1966, with degrees in Education and Spanish.  She went on to be a Spanish teacher in the Denver, CO, area for 30 years.  During that time she obtained her Masters degree in Spanish while spending her summers in Spain.  She married Edward Meyer (of Morrison) on July 8, 1995.  She retired in Cedar Park. Karen was an animal enthusiast and loved to spoil her cats.

Survivors include two sisters, Mary Jane (Jim) Landherr of Waukesha WI, and Pat (Larry) Grace of Leander TX; six nephews, Jeff (Julie) Landherr of New Berlin, WI, Kurt (Denise) Landherr of Waukesha, Tim Landherr of Palm Desert, CA, Tom Landherr of Milwaukee, WI, Dan Landherr of Janesville, WI, Andy Bielema of Leander, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents and ex-husband.

Cremation Rites have been accorded.  There will be no services.
