On Tuesday, April 24, 2018, Jennifer Stevenson, Morrison High School Librarian wanted to share good news.
“The Morrison High School library was awarded a $2000 ‘Back to Books’ Grant through the Illinois State Library. This money will fund an update of the non-fiction section, to better assist student research, as well as adding almost 60 new graphic novels to its previously small section.”
Funding for this grant was awarded by the Illinois State Library, a Department of the Office of Secretary of State, using funds provided by the U. S. Institute of Museum and Library Services, under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA).”
