As part of the Lifelong Learning Series, Friends of Odell Public Library presents John Park, Dietitian at CGH on Monday, April 16, 2018. Mr. Park, through a Power Point Presentation, will discuss healthy eating and its benefits. The program begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Program Room.
Mr. Park is originally from Orangeville, IL, which is about 12 miles from Freeport. “My parents still live there,” stated Dr. Park. After receiving his Masters’ Degree, Dr. Park worked for a year in Abilene, TX, before coming to Sterling and Community General Hospital.
Mr. Park is a registered Dietitian at the CGH Medical Center’s Main Clinic, supervising the Diabetes and Nutrition Center. His main duties include providing medical nutrition therapy, education, and counseling for patients and their family members. He also collaborates with other healthcare professionals in providing and recommending appropriate nutrition interventions.
