Each and every day, patients across the Country rely on volunteer blood donors when receiving healthcare. Cancer patients, trauma victims, surgery patients, and others may need donated blood products. Hundreds of donations are received at the Robert Fulton Community Center each year!
The next American Red Cross Blood Drive at the Robert Fulton Community Center, 912 4th Street in Fulton, IL, with be Tuesday, March 27, 2018, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Drives are held twice a month at this location:
- the second Tuesday, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.
- the fourth Tuesday, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The American Red Cross urges those who have never given blood before, as well as those who haven’t given recently, to make an appointment to give blood or platelets now and help sustain a sufficient community blood supply. Call 1-800-Red Cross (1-800-733-2767.) Giving Blood is one of the most selfless acts an individual can do. The hour it takes to give blood can mean a lifetime to a patient with a serious medical need. You could save up to three lives with each of your donations.

Two gallon donors were Noah Borges, Heinz Hehlke, Tina Rodgers, Kirt Dell, Donna Buikema, and Gean Moore. Three gallon donors were Carol Leavy, Robert E. Smith, Nancy Witt, and Pamela Pickens. Four gallon donors were Dave Frett, Esther Losh, and Dennis Hopper . Five gallon donors were Edith Lenz, Patti Naughton, Thomas Goldenshoph, and LeighAnn Houzenga. Six gallon donors were Burton Melvin and Chris Busse. Seven gallon donors were Mike Mulholland, Pam Vogel, Cindy McAleer, and Sharon Lanning. Nine gallon donors were Stanley Sirvid, Patricia Spooner, and Edward Walker. Ten gallon donors were Joyce Vath and Rober Krajnovich. Robert D. Houzenga donated 11 gallons. Wayne Johnston and Michael Haan donated 12 gallons. Marti Wood donated 13 gallons. Nancy Countryman, Garrett Housenga, Bess Haan, and Virginia Eggers donated 14 gallons. Eugene Eggers and Roger Rupp donated 18 gallons. Merry Iverson donated 19 gallons. Roger Crosthwaite donated 20 gallons. Loren Andresen donated 22 gallons. Mark Mangin and Norma E. Roling donated 23 gallons. Bruce Sikkema donated 25 gallons. Harold Schaver donated 26 gallons. Harold McClure donated 27 gallons. Donating 33 gallons was Dean Stone.
