If your family uses crayons, you may want to donate some–broken bits or whole–to The Crayon Initiative, a California not-for-profit. This organization recycles used crayons and makes new crayons to distribute to children’s hospitals across the Nation. Help them reach their colorful goal of 2000 pounds of crayons.
Whiteside County Farm Bureau and Country Financial have partnered with the local Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapters, to help meet this service project goal. The idea to facilitate The Crayon Initiative originated with Illinois FFA.
The Morrison, IL, drop-off deadline is Friday, June 1, 2018, at 100 E. Knox Street.
