The Illinois State Police investigated a two-vehicle crash on 3/03/2018 at 7:33 p.m., at the intersection of Lincolnway and Cherry Street in Morrison, IL. Unit 1 driver, Stephanie K. M. Stanley, 31, of Chadwick, IL, was driving a 2012 GMC Acadia, eastbound on Cherry Street and proceeded through a red stop light at Lincolnway. Unit 2, a 2017 Ford Explorer Whiteside County squad car, driven by Deputy Jeffrey A. Wunderlich, 35, of Morrison, struck Unit 1. Stanley was issued a citation for Disobeying a Traffic Control Device.
All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
