Morrison High School Pom Pons Coach Katie Jakubs submitted the photo of the squad, after a first place win in the Illinois Drill Team Association (IDTA) 1A Kick Division competition. The young women competed on Saturday, February 10, 2018, in Springfield, IL.
Avary Bielema competed in the Preliminary Solo Division on Friday, February 9. She did not advance to the State Finals.
Jakubs stated,”They placed first at all Regionals [where] they competed…this season, against a total of three other teams. Only one advanced to State, to compete against the Pons.” Cambridge, IL, Mystic Fire Dance Team took second in the Kick Division.
