White Oaks Therapeutic Equestrian Center (WHOA) will host a Trivia Night fundraiser on Saturday, March 3, 2018. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and play begins at 7:00, in the City of Morrison Community Room, at Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL.
“This is one of our biggest fundraisers, stated Tawny Wiersema. “Proceeds will be used for general operating expenses. There were 24 students in the fall 2017 classes. We seem to be growing. I have had about ten requests for information packets,” she added.
Call Wiersema at 815-535-6208 to reserve space at one of 15 tables. Tickets are $10 per person.
This is a family event, so two or three questions per round will be child-friendly. Categories include movies, television, and music trivia.
There will be Happy Joe’s pizza-by-the-slice and nonalcoholic beverages for purchase. No outside food or drinks are allowed.
There will be a dessert auction and a 50/50 raffle.
Cash prizes will go to the two highest scoring teams: $200 for first place; $100 for second place.
