February 12 Sheriff’s Office Report

These arrests are merely a charge, and he/she is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

2-10-18 at 5:18 a.m.  Whiteside County Deputies responded to a vehicle stuck in the median of Interstate 88 near mile marker 32.  Once on scene, Deputies arrested a 17-year-old female from Hanover Park, IL, for traveling Too Fast for Conditions and No Valid Driver’s License.  She was also processed for the Illinois Zero Tolerance Implied Consent.  After processing at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, she was released on bond to her parents with a future court appearance pending.  Williams’ Towing assisted on scene.

2-11-18 at 11:00 a.m.  Jason J. Bardoner, age 44 of Sterling, IL, was arrested at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office on a Whiteside County Warrant for Contempt of Court.  He was remanded to the jail in lieu of bond.

2-11-18 at 1:20 p.m.  Whiteside County Deputies responded to a crash with injuries on Jersey Road, at the Hennepin Feeder Canal south of Tampico, IL.  A snowmobile operator named Madeline L. Tornow, age 19 of Tampico, was traveling northbound through a field west of the canal, when she pulled up onto Jersey Road and failed to yield to an eastbound vehicle, driven by Todd E. Blosser, age 29 also of Tampico.  Blosser took evasive action in attempting to avoid the crash, but he was unable to avoid the snowmobile.  Tornow was transported to CGH and then later airlifted to a Rockford[, IL,] Trauma Center for treatment of her injuries.  Occupants in the Blosser vehicle were uninjured.  Tampico Fire, Tampico Ambulance, and CGH Ambulance assisted on scene.  This crash was turned over to the Illinois Department of Conservation Police for their investigation into the crash.
