If you are looking for a quick weekend lunch, check this out. On Saturday, April 6, 2013, visit Morrison Tire Center, 318 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the first Saturday sandwich sale of the new season.
Choose from pork chops, brats, chips, and drinks.
All proceeds will benefit Linda Temple and Paula Rodriguez on their Central America Mission Trip to the Republic of El Salvador.
At the end of August 2013, the women will spend seven days in this country of 6.9 million people.
Through Compassion International, Crossroads Community Church in Morrison sponsors children in El Salvador and around the world. All of Crossroads Community Church services are held at MIT Auditorium, located at 701 Portland Avenue, Morrison.
Rodriguez returns to the area, but this will be the first mission experience for Temple. They plan to connect with children they sponsor and help in schools.
