1-14-18 at 12:02 a.m. Tyler J. Nitz, age 23 of Port Byron, IL, was stopped in Erie , IL, for an equipment violation. He was arrested for two counts of DUI, processed at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, and released on bond, pending a future court date. Erie Police and Todd’s Towing assisted on scene.
1-13-18 at 3:45 p.m. At the Shell gas station located at 1111 W. Route 30 in Rock Falls, IL, Whiteside County Deputies arrested Chrishaun M. Kelly, age 35 of Sterling, IL, for a Lee County Warrant for Contempt of Court. Unable to immediately post bond, he was transported the Lee County Jail.
1-12-18 at 10:32 p.m. Jamie M. Miller, age 37 of Fulton, IL, was stopped for failure to signal in Little Oak. She was cited for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and released with a Promise to Comply.
1-12-18 at 9:10 p.m. Justin J. Crooks, age 34 of Fulton, IL, was arrested on a Carroll County Warrant for Failure to Appear-Deceptive Practice. After posting the required bond, Justin was released, pending a future court date.
1-12-18 at 5:10 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on U. S. Route 30 near the IL Route 84 intersection for speeding. During the investigation of the stop, Alex D. Alexander, age 30 of Chicago, il, was arrested for speeding 70 in a 55, along with Obstructing Identity. Alexander was transported to the Whiteside County Jail ,where he was processed and released on a Notice to Appear. Assisting on scene was Fulton Police and Midwest Towing.
