These arrests are merely a charge, and he/she is resumed innocent until proven guilty.
On 1-08-18 at 3:45 p.m., Whiteside County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Moline Road near the Yorktown Road intersection. During the investigation of the stop, the driver of the vehicle Patrick W. Grassnickle, age 32 of Sterling, was arrested for Speeding 103 MPH in a 55 MPH Speed Zone. Grassnickle was transported to the sheriff’s office where he was processed and released on a Notice to Appear. The vehicle was removed from the scene by Todd’s Towing out of Prophetstown.
On 1-08-18 at 11:50 p.m., Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Diamond Road near Ward Road, rural Fulton, IL, on a vehicle for an equipment violation. Front seat passenger Samantha B. Houston, age 30 of Clinton, IA, was arrested on a Rock Island County Warrant for Failure to Appear-Driving While License Suspended, Unlawful Possession of Hypodermic Needles, and Unlawful Possession of a Concealed Weapon. Back seat passenger Bruce A. Leab, age 51 also of Clinton, was arrested on a Carroll County Warrant for Failure to Appear-Deceptive Practice, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both Houston and Leab were remanded to the Whiteside County Jail on the felony charges.
On 1-09-18 at 5:10 p.m., Whiteside County Deputies responded to the report of a domestic dispute in rural Sterling, IL. Once on scene, Jason J. Bardoner, age 44 of Sterling, was arrested on an active Whiteside County Warrant for Failure to Appear, on a Driving While License Suspended charge. He was unable to post the required bond and transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On 1-09-18 at 7:33 p.m., Whiteside County Deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a disturbance at a rural Lyndon, IL, residence. Brittany L. Herschberger, age 25 of Lyndon, was arrested on an outstanding Lee County Warrant for FTA-Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. She posted the required bond and was released, with a pending Lee County Court date.
