Clark Mortensen and his wife, Kara, waited for the parade to start. Mortensen is a lifelong resident of Erie, IL. He noted some of his campaign team were at the Erie, IL, Christmas Walk that evening. The Chrismoose hat complimented his shirt; it later brought him attention from onlookers. One little girl, however, told him she did not like his hat.
